The ferry is a really big boat, and you can drive cars inside and the cars will go along for the ride. I pushed my bike inside and went up the stairs on the boat to have a good view of where we were going.
The ferry sailed past the island of Kerrera.
It sailed past the island of Lismore
It sailed past the island of Mull
It sailed past the islands of Tiree and Coll
On and on it went for five hours. Some times it would sway a little bit and I felt a little seasick, but it wasn't too bad.
Eventually some islands appeared.
I could see the island of Vatersay
I could see the island of Mingulay
I could see the island of Pabbay and Sandray and Eriskay and North Uist and South Uist
And there in the middle of them all, I could see the wonderful Island of Barra, with the castle sitting out in the sea.
